  • Correct Maintenance Method for Shallow Sand Filter
    Installation and commissioning precautions: 1. Operators must hold an operation card and be operated by a dedicated person. 2. If there are obstacles around the filter, they should be removed in time. 3. After the filter is repaired, check whether the connection and fit of each component are firm and whether the tightness is appropriate.   Operation sequence: Note that the equipment is bypass installed:   Sand filling: The inlet and outlet valves of the equipment are closed and isolated from the on-site system. Coarse and fine sand are loaded into the tank in turn. After loading one type, the surface should be flattened before loading the next type. Each tank is loaded in turn.   Sand washing: The initial state of the equipment is the filtering state. Only the inlet valve and drain valve of the equipment are opened, and then the sand in each tank is manually cleaned in turn. The clear water is qualified. The cleaning time of each tank is about 15 minutes.   Filtration starts: Open the inlet and outlet valves of the filter. The operation and backwashing pressure of the filter are adjusted by the outlet valve. During backwashing, the outlet pressure should be kept above 0.25MPa to achieve the best cleaning effect.   Backwashing operation: After the filter has been running for a certain period of time, the filter residue will block the gap, causing a differential pressure to form in the filter inlet and outlet pipes. The pressure difference value can be observed from the inlet and outlet pressure gauges. When the pressure difference reaches the set 0.1Mpa, or when the set filtration time reaches 4h, automatic backwashing is performed.   Equipment maintenance and care:   Check for water leakage   Check whether the sealing parts and auxiliary valves of the equipment are leaking.   • The difference between brush self cleaning filter and suction self cleaning filter
    Brush filter and suction filter are somewhat similar. They are two types of self-cleaning filters commonly used nowadays. Users are easily confused when purchasing. Next, let me introduce the difference between the two.   Introduction to brush filter: During the filtration process of brush filter, impurities in the inner layer of fine filter gradually accumulate, and a pressure difference is formed on its inner and outer sides. When this pressure difference reaches the preset value, the filter will start the automatic cleaning process: the drain valve opens, the hydraulic motor chamber and hydraulic cylinder of the main assembly release the pressure and discharge the water; the pressure in the hydraulic motor chamber and the suction pipe drops significantly. Due to the negative pressure, the dirt on the inner wall of the fine filter is sucked by the suction nozzle, flows into the hydraulic motor chamber by the hydraulic motor, and is discharged by the drain valve, forming a suction process. When water flows through the filter hydraulic motor, it drives the suction pipe to rotate, and the hydraulic cylinder piston drives the suction pipe to move axially. The self-cleaning filter suction assembly completely cleans the entire inner surface of the filter through a combination of axial movement and rotational movement. During the filtering process, the fine filter gradually accumulates dirt and impurities in the water to form a filter impurity layer. Since the impurity layer accumulates on the inner side of the fine filter, a pressure difference is formed on the inner and outer sides of the fine filter. When the pressure difference of the filter reaches the preset value of the filter, the automatic cleaning process will begin. During this period, the clean water supply is continuously flowing, the cleaning valve is opened, and the water pressure in the cleaning chamber and the suction device drops significantly. Through the pressure difference between the filter cartridge and the suction pipe, a suction force is generated between the filter suction pipe and the cleaning chamber through the suction nozzle, forming a suction process. At the same time, the filter electric motor drives the suction pipe to make a spiral motion along the axial direction. The combination of the axial motion and the rotational motion of the suction device completely cleans the entire inner surface of the filter. The entire flushing process only takes tens of seconds.     The volume of the finished filter cartridge is closely related to the volume of the filter assembly. The main machine using the filter assembly often puts forward the following requirements for the filter:   ① The total height and inlet and outlet distance (width) of the dust collector; ② The total height and diameter of the lower body of the filter cartridge; ③ The total mass of the filter cartridge; ④ The connection method and size of the air outlet; ⑤ A series of performance requirements related to the filtering characteristics such as filtering accuracy.   After the cartridge dust collector has been used for a period of time, the suction force of the dust collector becomes smaller. The more direct and obvious manifestation is that the dust cannot be inhaled by the wind, or only a small part of the dust can be inhaled, and most of the dust particles remain outside. This situation is generally caused by the blockage of the cartridge dust collector filter element, because the blockage of the filter element will lead to a decrease in air volume, resulting in unclean dust removal and a decrease in the fan force. The main reasons for the blockage of the cartridge filter are too high dust-containing gas concentration, too fast filtration speed, too fine dust, sticky dust, unclean filter element cleaning, and damp filter element. If the concentration of the treated dust-laden gas is too high, the filter cartridge dust collector will be clogged, because the space of the V-shaped wrinkles on the surface of the filter cartridge is small, and dust is easy to be retained or accumulated in the V-shaped surface. Therefore, the clogging of the filter element, the internal humidity of the filter cartridge dust collector, the high latitude, and the generation of a large amount of steam cause the filter element to be clogged. The dust collector shell is not tightly sealed, resulting in water leakage and wet air entering. The compressed air used for backblowing and dust removal is not clean, and the cold compressed air used for dust removal, etc., will cause the dust filter to become damp and clogged.   After the cartridge dust collector is shut down, if there is condensed water on the surface of the filter, it will be turned on again. When a large amount of dust-laden air enters and high humidity is added, the surface of the filter will become turbid and clogged. When the machine is started at a dew point, a large amount of dust-laden air will enter, and high humidity will cause the surface of the filter to be clogged.
